NO REFUNDS after a class booking is confirmed. 

No refund when a student is absent from his/her class. If you don't attend the class you will forfeit your spot. If you attend your class and leave before the class program is completed, you cannot attend another class to catch up on the stuff you missed, unless you book a new class again.

Once you receive confirmation from us of the booking (via Email, Whatsapp, Telegram, or Telephonic Confirmation) and/or receive an invoice, please ensure that payment is effected immediately. We require a full class fee or a 50% deposit on all bookings and the balance is to be paid no later than 7 days prior to the class or event.

Should you want to change a current class booking to another scheduled available date, you may do so, at least 7 working days in advance, depending on availability.

Should you cancel an event within less than 7 working days’ notice, you will be liable for payment of the full amount. You can arrange to send a friend to your place, or forfeit the class, as ingredients and planning are done a week in advance.

Please note this pertains to any and all reasons for which you may not be able to attend, i.e. illness, traffic, work demands, etc.

Should you wish to reschedule due to an emergency, 48 hours before your scheduled class there will be an R700 penalty charge fee to reschedule to the next available date.

Rescheduling  WILL happen when:
- There are not enough bookings
- If I fall ill or physically cannot proceed with a class
- Due to Lockdown restrictions
- Electricity failures / Load Shedding
- Major water supply interruptions in the Silver Lakes area.

Soetlief en Jasmyn has the right to cancel or reschedule the class if there is not enough interest/bookings. Options for rescheduling dates will be given when required rescheduling.

Classes are scheduled on every new month’s Cake Class Calendar.

Please remember that Beginners’ Classes are scheduled over a period of 7 hours which can be completed on a Wednesday, Thursday or Sunday.
